Frances Kang holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, United States (2012), and previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from National Taiwan University, Taipei (2006).
Ms. Frances has over a decade of experience in venture capital, with a strong focus on the global technology sector, particularly in fintech, digital health, enterprise software, and sustainability. Since 2012, she has been a core member of the investment team at Horizons Ventures, a global venture capital firm, where she is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments in innovative technology companies across North America, Europe, and Asia.
With cross-border investment experience and active involvement in the startup ecosystem and corporate boards across regions, Ms. Frances brings a global perspective to all of her roles. She is also a co-founder of WeLab, a leading digital financial services provider in Asia, and currently serves as an Independent Director at the Epoch Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes economic growth and innovation in Asia through technology and startup development.
