PT Adimitra Baratama NusantaraPT Adimitra Baratama Nusantara (ABN) is the largest producer of thermal coal among the subsidiaries. Established since 2004, ABN has Production Operation Mining Business License No. 540/1691/IUP-OP/MB-PBAT/XII/2009 dated December 1, 2009, and started to operate in September 2008. ABN’s coal concessions cover 2,990 hectares located in the Kampung Jawa Village, Sangasanga District, and Muara Kembang Village, Muara Jawa District, Regency of Kutai Kartanegara, or about 30 kilometers southeast of Samarinda, the capital of East Kalimantan.
ABN has concessions in two different areas, ABN East and ABN West. ABN operates under Production Operation Mining Business License No. 540/1691/IUP-OP/MB-PBAT/XII/2009 dated December 1, 2009. Based on the JORC report, ABN has coal reserves of approximately 45 million tons. ABN commenced exploration and infrastructure development in 2007 and commercial production in 2008.
ABN’s production process is supported by key infrastructures consisting of coal stockpiles, coal crushers, overland conveyors and jetties. ABN transports the coal from the ROM stockpile through the overland conveyor, of approximately 5 kilometers in length, which directly loads the coal on 300 feet-long barges at the jetty.
