In a significant move Towards a Better Society 2030 (TBS2030), TBS Energi Utama, through its subsidiary PT Adimitra Baratama Nusantara (ABN), has manifested its commitment to illuminating the path of knowledge. This dedication is particularly evident in its collaboration with SMAN 1 and SMK Muhammadiyah Sangasanga, East Kalimantan, aimed at fostering a generation equipped with not only knowledge but also the practical skills required in today’s dynamic workforce.

At the heart of this partnership lies the implementation of comprehensive educational programs such as Edurunner and the Ustadz Forum at SMAN 1 Sangasanga. These initiatives have already shown remarkable success, exemplified by the impressive achievement where 86% of the participants in the tutorial program secured admissions in universities last year. The ongoing success of these programs at SMA levels has paved the way for their expansion into Vocational High Schools (SMKs), thereby broadening the impact on the educational community.

One of the cornerstone programs emerging from this collaboration is the Guest Teacher Program at SMK Muhammadiyah Sangasanga. This initiative sees ABN employees and their competent partners stepping into classrooms to deliver curriculum-aligned lessons, enriching the students with industry insights and practical know-how directly relevant to their fields of study. The enthusiasm from the school's leadership, as expressed by the Headmaster, Mr. Mursidi, S.Ag, underscores the mutual benefits derived from such partnerships. He articulates the sentiment that collaborations of this nature not only enhance the professional caliber of the graduates but also strengthen the institution's educational quality.

The Guest Teacher Program aligns with PT. ABN's broader vision titled ‘Towards a Better Society 2030’ (TBS2030), which not only seeks to contribute positively to the educational sector but also adheres to regulatory commitments such as the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree No. 1824 K 30/MEM of 2018 regarding Guidelines for Community Development and Empowerment.

A notable highlight of the program was the session conducted by Ir. Aditya Priambudi DN, S.T, IPM, a Superintendent Engineering at PT. ABN, who introduced students to the working culture in the mining sector, focusing on Oil and Gas Production. This session exemplified the program's essence, bringing real-world experience into the classroom and facilitating a lively exchange of ideas between the students and the professional guest. Such interactions are invaluable as they not only broaden the students' understanding but also ignite their curiosity and passion for their future careers.

This initiative by TBS Energi Utama and ABN stands as a testament to their unwavering commitment to education and societal development. By bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry experience, they are not only enhancing the educational experience for students but also contributing to the cultivation of a skilled workforce ready to meet the challenges of the future.

As the program unfolds and expands, it holds the promise of setting a new standard for educational excellence and industry collaboration. It is a beacon of hope for students, educators, and industries alike, signifying a step towards a more enlightened and empowered society.
